The work of Hans Christoph Buch is particularly distinguished by its interconnections between literature, politics and travel. En route in Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Caribbean, he raises public awareness about the daily lives of the people, the wars and the crises in these countries. To mark the occasion of the archive’s inauguration, the author, in conversation with Kerstin Hensel, will take a look at his own life and read from his new autobiographical novel Elf Arten, das Eis zu brechen (Frankfurter Verlagsanstalt).
