"Alfred Kerr. Die Biographie"
Alfred Kerr raised the art of the critic to a fourth genre of literature. With the incisive wit of a Heinrich Heine, he championed a literary renewal. In the Weimar Republic, Kerr, a prominent Jewish author and convinced democrat, fought the increasing power of the Nazi party. In 1933, he had to flee Germany with his family.
