Parallel to the symposium “Die Zukunft des Dramas”, the French philosopher, playwright, and novelist Alain Badiou speaks about the hybridisation of theatre and about the text as one of its necessary foundations. It is a “symbolic guarantee that the theatre will not be absorbed by zones where other arts, which must also conserve their independence, dominate” (Badiou). Followed by a discussion with Guillaume Paoli.
