This event was specially developed for the exhibition "Benjamin and Brecht. Thinking in Extremes" with the Landesjugendensemble Neue Musik Berlin, a regional youth ensemble founded in 2013. Making reference to Benjamin’s principle of passages and to life in the city, the arc of music spans from Schönberg and Eisler to works by Cage and Kagel in our times. In the youngest ensemble of the Landesmusikrat Berlin, school and college students, aged 15 to 24, perform under the direction of Gerhard Scherer and Jobst Liebrecht.
