Nicolas Born. Echo Landscapes
An old cupboard in an old house in Elbmarsch hid nearly forty years the literary estate of the poet, prose author and essayist Nicolas Born (1937–1979). With his highly acclaimed volumes of poetry and novels, he brought his very own tone to German literature of the 1960–70s. The original manuscripts, correspondence and notebooks from the estate have now been made publicly accessible as part of the Akademie archives, providing an opportunity to rediscover this dedicated and critical writer and contemporary.
