Eduardo Souto de Moura
Major works by the Portuguese architect (b. in Porto in 1952) are located in Porto, Amares, Braga, Cascais and Bragança, where he built apartments and office blocks, museums, a soccer stadium, etc. His sensitive insistence on a specific local architecture earned him the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2011. Souto de Moura has been a member of the Akademie der Künste since 2010. He provides insights into his current work as part of the series "On the Duty and the Power of Architecture". Wilfried Wang moderates the discussion following the lecture.
