Peter Voigt (1933–2015) is still an insider's tip among documentary filmmakers, even though he created such a unique form of historical narrative with Martha Lehmann (1972), Knabenjahre (1989) and Ich bin Ernst Busch (2000). Günter Agde, editor of the book Filmarbeit Peter Voigt (Verlag Das Neue Berlin) introduces Voigt's work. Anett Schubotz provides insights into the archive.
