In January 1949 the first issue of Sinn und Form was published. The 70th anniversary of Beiträge zur Literatur, published by the Akademie der Künste, is intended to provide an occasion to examine the importance of magazines for authors as well as readers both today and in the future. And to discuss whether such apparently outdated phenomena have their own place in a changing media world.
