Daniel Libeskind and Matthias Sauerbruch
The internationally successful New York architect Daniel Libeskind regularly questions the constraints of academic conventions. He looks back on a long history of provocative designs. Over 40 projects have been completed, and another 45 are in progress. His current book Edge of Order reflects on his philosophy. He published it with Tim McKeough in 2018 and will now present it in the lecture series “On the Duty and the Power of Architecture”. Matthias Sauerbruch, Director of the Architecture Section, will host the subsequent discussion.
