Thomas Kessler (b. 1939) is one of the pioneers of electroacoustic music. His work Schallarchiv (1979) is originally a radiophonic piece. From the very beginning, however, there was a performance concept that had never been realised until now. Thus the realisation of this concept is an actual premiere of the now 40-year-old work, which reflects on listening and imagination, perception and depiction of sound. With Desirée Meiser as speaker and the Berlin Lautsprecherorchester under the direction of Wolfgang Heiniger.
