Writing across borders. Anna Seghers

Workshop and Reading

The workshop is dedicated to Anna Seghers’ transatlantic oeuvre, which has recently been rediscovered. In addition to eight lectures, artefacts from the archive and museum will be presented.

The staged reading from the early story Grubetsch (1927), for which Anna Seghers received the Kleist Prize, will take place at the Anna Seghers Museum, in her flat in Berlin Adlershof, which has been faithfully preserved.
