Pony Says is a trio specialising in contemporary music and free improvisation. Its members perform solo or as a duo/trio and collaborate with other creative artists from the fields of video, performance and site-specific art.

Lange//Berweck//Lorenz, Works for a Synthesizer Trio, by Kirsten Reese, Christof Ogiermann, Midori Hirano, Korhan Erel and Alvin Lucier. Includes performances on historical synthesizers at the Akademie der Künste.
Lange//Berweck//Lorenz is an electroacoustic trio in Berlin. In this lineup, the trio performs scores for electric and electronic musical instruments reviving a repertoire from the past and collaborating with present-day composers on new works.

Female Laptop Orchestra, Site-specific performance
FLO & FRIENDS: City Jam Berlin
After performances in Melbourne and Zagreb in 2019, the Female Laptop Orchestra (FLO) continues their collaboration with the Japanese dance artists Fumi Tomioka, Aki Kawashita and Hiromi Hijikata, exploring telematic music-making inspired by movement and made possible by the internet. For the performance at KONTAKTE ʼ22, a selection of dance videos depicting “the landscapes inside and outside of us” will be streamed to Berlin, mixed with the locally and remotely produced sonic textures of flute, trumpet, cello, piano, percussion, live electronics, voice and soundscapes, and spatialised.

KLANGZEITORT, the Institut für Neue Musik Berlin, perceives itself as a laboratory for musical composition and a reflective approach to contemporary music. A joint institution of the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” (HfM), KLANGZEITORT is, above all, a forum for students and teachers.
